I am sad.
There are no words to describe how i and other some many other people in my country, are feeling. Our grief is real and the pain is deep.It seems like a bad dream i desperately want to wake up from. This year has been full of deaths and blood shed ,in my country. We had by far the worst one for the year so far only yesterday. Yesterday a plane was carrying 153 passengers coming from Abuja (the federal capital ) going to Lagos crashed, there were no survivors. There was also a bomb blast in one of our states,(Bauchi state),where they targeted people leaving the church after Sunday service.12 people were reportedly been killed least 30 people were injured in the blast.
3 days of mourning have been declared in the country. I have asked myself over and over ,WHY? Families were wiped out in the plane crash. We lost very prominent Nigerians, Former broadcaster and NNPC General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Dr Levi Ajuonuma was on board the plane along with 5 Staff members of the Nigerian University Commissions (NUC) , Ehime Aikhomu, son of former Vice President, Late Admiral Augustus Ikhomu, and Clergy Reverend Ayodeji Cole and his wife were on Board. The pilot was an American, the co-pilot was from India, the flight engineer from Indonesia, and there were also reportedly 6 Chinese citizens who were on board the flight, according to the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria .
Friends of friends,parents,children,husbands,wives,uncles,aunties,students,relatives…..all gone.Is this how things are going to continue? Its just so sad. Please remember to keep Nigeria in your prayers and the relatives of victims, especially suddenly orphaned children .For now we mourn the loss of lives , may their soul rest in peace,AMEN.
The only picture i decided to show from the crash site.
GONE TOO SOON!

My roomate brother in the crash. He is businessman.so sad,he is good man.Why bad things always happen to good people.
I sympathize with you. Please take heart.
OMG.Look at the long list of all the people who died.
remember to cherish and value the people around you.You will never know for how long they will be with you.
May the Almighty find their soul worthy of eternal rest in his bossom
While we commiserate with the families that have lost loved ones, breadwinners and all, we must not loose focus of the fact that negligence, indiscipline, and sheer disregard for the value of sacred human lives is a painful reality that Nigeria (the people and the political leadership) must inevitably confront.
The clouds hanging over us are way too dark, where is the silver lining?
What a loss. May their death be the ultimate sacrifice to cleans this country of any ill fated fate. my heart goes out to the family. I dedicate the song “Hold me now”-Kirk Franklin to this precious families.
Sad, sad, sad case

Adamu Bamayi! May your soul and all the other souls rest in peace! Amen!
