Meet Jewel Shuping; The lady with the desire to be blind.
Jewel Shuping, a 30-year-old from North Carolina USA has dreamt of being blind since she was a child. She has been able to fufill this great desire through the help of an (unknown) psychologist who agreed to have drain cleaner poured into her eyes in order to fully blind her.
After putting in numbing eyedrops, the psychologist added a couple of drops of drain cleaner in her eyes.
Jewel’s believes that she was supposed to have been born blind. Her Fiance is also blind, although he is blind due to Natural causes.
Though she did not immediately go blind after the help of the Psychologist, her vision did eventually deteriorate till she completely lost her vision.
At first she told her family that her blindness has been the result of an accident, family members found out the truth in the long run which led to her mother and her sister to cutting contact with her.
Jewel has been diagnosed by experts with a condition called Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID).
Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID) is a disorder when the person believes that they are meant to be disabled.
According to Daily mail,she reported said;
“My mother would find me walking in the halls at night, when I was three or four years old,” she said. “By the time I was six I remember that thinking about being blind made me feel comfortable.”
She further stated that as a child, she would spend hours staring at the sun after her mother informed her that doing so would damage her eyes. Her fascination with the disability continued until she reached adulthood, with her getting a cane when she turned 18 and becoming fully fluent in Braille by the time she was 20, reports The Mirror.
This is one seriously determined person I must say.
My only question is this ,why would any one do this? Or want this?

subject: Please I Need Your Help
Dear Friend,My name is Saeed Ahmed Aban. I have a touching story of hope and self realization to tell you. I am an oil-servicing equipment merchant, from Dubai, U.A.E, diagnosed with chronic Esophageal cancer in July 2009.
I am a very rich man, so please do not think of this letter as one of those being sent around to ask for money later on. In the past one year i have been donating my money, to charity organizations in Malaysia, and India. Now that my health has deteriorated so badly, i cannot do this myself anymore. I once asked two members of my family to close one of my accounts and distribute the money to charity organizations in Bulgaria and Pakistan, they refused and kept the money to themselves. Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not to be contented with what I have left for them. The last bulk consignment of my money which is unknown to anyone, is the huge cash deposit of twenty million dollars $20,000,000.00 that I have with a finance security company abroad. I need you to help me collect this deposit and distribute it to charity organizations to help earthquake victims in Haiti, and people suffering elsewhere in the world. I have set aside 10% for your time and service. I do not need this money anymore as i have a short time to live. Please reply me with honesty as soon as you receive this email. God be with you.
Sincerely,
Saeed Ahmed Aban.

OBVIOUSLY I CAN SEE ITS A SCAM.
I googled Saeed Abanahmed only to find out that he does this to alot of other people, most especialy Bloggers.I received two more emails from him,and just got this new one a day ago.

Before his death, he deposited some amount with a bank In Asia.Recently, my Doctor told me that I would not last for the next one year due to cancer problem. Having known my condition, I decided to donate this fund to a Charity organization or good person that will utilize this money in good faith by setting up a charity organisation.
I took this decision because I don’t have any child that will inherit this money and I kept this deposit secret till date, this is why I am taking this decision. Upon your reply I shall give you the contact of the bank. I will also issue a letter of authorization to the bank that will prove you as the present beneficiary of this money.

My favorite part of the E-mail Was the Confidentiality Warning Added, so the email could look Authentic. SMH.
Nobody in their right mind would ask a complete stranger for help transferring their money online. If they had the large amounts of money they claimed then they would hire a lawyer, go to a bank, and do things legally.
Please don’t fall for this ever! A word is enough for the wise.

Tori Spelling’s Baby Bump *sigh*
Are you as surprised as i am when some pregnant women seem look so good when they are pregnant? Sometimes even looking better than when they weren’t pregnant?Tori Spelling, who announced her fourth pregnancy in March was photographed with husband Dean McDermott, and their youngest child, seven-month-old Hattie this past weekend .She has two other children, five-year-old Liam and Stella, who turns four next month. She got pregnant again only 5 Months After Birth Of her third child.
I dont get it!She looks amazing!i swear its unexplainable.I dont have kids yet and i am not married but seriously i wouldn’t mind getting pregnant and looking like this or even better.

She has been quoted saying her husband finds her sexy when she is pregnant. She also was quoted saying :
‘I’m never as happy as when I’m pregnant.’And Dean can’t keep his hands off me! He’s like, “You’re the sexiest pregnant woman”.’
‘I literally would have 10 babies if I could!’

The World Bank says African economies will experience faster this year.
In the World Bank ts bi-annual report on Africa’s economic prospects,it was estimated that growth in sub-Sahara Africa will rise 5.2 percent this year, accelerating from the 4.9 percent expansion predicted in 2011.The estimate is slightly lower than the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) forecast of 5.4 percent growth for 2012 published two days ago.
World Bank’s Vice-President for Africa Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili said African economies have continued to show resilience and some of the fastest-growing economies in the world are now in Africa. The IMF expects rising oil output in Nigeria and Angola to bolster growth in the two largest crude oil producers in Africa.
