There is a toilet-theme cafe in L.A called the Magic Restroom Cafe Owned by a lady named YoYo Li.
According to her,she decided to open a cafe like this after noticing how popular the “Modern Toilet
restaurant chain” was in China and Taiwan.
Here, very thing from the food to the seats are toilet like. Your order is served in miniature toilet bowls.
On the menu, you will find things like “golden poop rice,”“black poop” which is actually a chocolate sundae, “smells-like-poop” which is braised pork over rice, and “bloody number two” which is vanilla-strawberry sundae .
So far so good, according to reports the Cafe is getting good reviews. However the decor is getting better reviews than the food.
Would you eat here?
The house is a tourist attraction located in Dresden, Germany. Musical sounds are produced from the house by the drains and funnels attached on the wall on the outside of the house.
This house was built in 1999 by sculptor Annette Paul and designers Christoph Rossner and André Tempel, who all live in the house.
I guess they don’t sleep once it rains.
A nineteenth century prison in the Netherlands has been converted into a Hotel where guests sleep in the former cells.
The prison in Roermond, which dates back to 1863, was in use for nearly 150 years until 2007.
Dutch hotel group Van der Valk, remodelled a total of 105 prisoner cells into 40 rooms and suites that open out to a lounge in the prison hallway. The Hotel opened in 2011.
The Hotel rooms are designed with modern furnishings, with each room retaining its original door. There are four luxury suites included, named The Jailer, The Lawyer, The Director and The Judge.
The courtyard now serves as a cafe and terrace surrounded by olive trees. Other facilities include a herb garden, a sauna and a number of hotel bars.
I found out that there are other Hotels like this remodelled from prisons. They are Liberty Hotel in Boston, the Malmaison Hotel in Oxford, England, and the Jailhotel Lowengraben in Lucerne, Switzerland.
I think its a very creative and stylish way to remodel the prison. What do you think?

Here is a new post for my Travel category. The Villa Escudero Resort of San Pablo City in the Philippines offers a one of a kind experience for guests to get close to a waterfall while enjoying their lunch! The entire villa is in fact a historical plantation surrounded by mountains and coconut trees. The restaurant sits at the foot of the Labasin Falls where guests can enjoy local cuisine at handmade bamboo tables while clear spring water runs over their feet. Isn’t this just Awesome?
More than 60 diners who ate at a restaurant commonly thought to be the best in the world have been struck ill.
The restaurant is known for relying on fresh and locally sourced products. It currently holds two Michelin stars, and has been named the best restaurant in the world three times.
The set menu at the restaurant costs 1,500 kroner (£175), with matching wines at 1,000 kroner (£115).
The embarrassing incident is reminiscent of a similar outbreak at the Fat Duck in Bray, where 240 diners fell ill in 2009.Customers at Danish restaurant Noma, in Copenhagen, were apparently infected with norovirus during their £290-a-head meals.
It is believed that the virus started when a restaurant employee came in to work while sick. The official investigation found that Noma did not disinfect the kitchen in good time to stop the bug spreading.
It also criticized the restaurant for not allowing workers to wash their hands with hot water, which is more effective at killing germs.Food officials have ordered Noma to tighten up its hygiene procedures in future.
